Where to go SCUBA diving in Key Largo?

Wether its SCUBA diving reefs that are your passion or shipwrecks you will find the best key largo dive sites with us. We have no fixed locations of where to go on each trip, we assess the conditions taking into account the weather, tides, currents and where the best wildlife is to be seen to suggest where the best places to go are on that trip. Then the divers on the boat decide where they would like to go!

Of course you can always let us know if you have a bucket list place to go to or a preference and we will take you there!

What times are the SCUBA diving tours?

Our SCUAB diving boats depart at 8am returning at 11.30 and again at 1pm returning at 4.30. We are located in the Pilot House Marina in the center of Key Largo where we have ample parking and there are many hotels and accommodations right near our shop, you do not even need to venture back out on the US1! Boats are located on slips 5 and 6 between CRF exploration center and our dive shop.

Just a 35 min boat ride will get you to the amazing Molasses Reef which is the number 1 reef in the Keys. This shallow reef is depicted on many of the advertisements for the florida keys. The scuba diving on Molasses reef is amazing and there is always plenty of wildlife to see, schooling fish, Turtles, Eels, Eagle Rays and maybe even a passing friendly shark.

Our boat will stop for just over an hour at each of the dive sites. We always give you a detailed brief of the dive site, where to go and what you might see and the time to be back, you are free to get off the boat when you are ready. As its a smaller boat you wont have to wait for 30 other divers to get off before you can get in! We give you a full hour from the time the brief is finished to when you need to be back on the boat. This ensures that everybody gets the dive they want. Some divers like to get in first and stay in the water to the very last minute, whereas some like to take their time getting in and have a shorter dive. With us you can do either.

For each of our chosen dive sites all of the dives can be conducted under or near the boat and will not need to swim a long way to see the cool stuff. If you would like a guide for your dives we can provide a one at a small additional cost. Our guides are all professional Dive Masters or SCUBA instructors, we do not use interns to guide you round the reef as we believe you should have an experienced guide.

Depth of dives varies but for reef dives you can expect all dives to be in the 30 foot range. We also have deeper wreck dives in Key Largo that we visit that are in the 100 foot plus range and we are happy to take divers with the experience to these sites.

We carry a complete range of SCUBA Diving rental equipment and have plenty available for all of our customers.
