Almost
every diver who visits the Keys
asks to see the famous statue.
It is a copy of the "Il Christo Degli Abissi"
statue which sits
in the Mediterranean
Sea. It is probably
one of the most
photographed sites
in the Keys. Despite
several hurricanes,
including one that
set the huge Spiegel
Grove upright, the
Christ Statue has
remained solidly in
place since August
25, 1965.
